Join us in our gift shop on select Saturdays from 2 pm to 4 pm for the opportunity meet and purchase a signed copy of some of our favorite cookbook authors. We are thrilled to be able to provide you with this opportunity to meet the women behind the recipes that inspire us. Authors will be providing sample goodies from their cookbook paired with a sampling of Durant Vineyards wine. So bring your friends and enjoy a series of visits out to the property.

March 23: Cheryl Wakerhauser – Modern French Pastry

Author of Modern French Pastry for a series of 30 minute pastry demos like you’ve never seen before. Why yes, you can make pastry cream in the microwave (and in a metal bowl! C’est vrai!) Cheryl will show off some time saving tips (which she calls Parlor Tricks) and discuss why baking should not be intimidating in any way. There will be a tasting of two recipes from the book as well as a pairing with wines from Durant Vineyards.

Demos start every 30 minutes on the half hour at 2PM, 2:30PM, 3PM and 3:30PM. Book signing to follow each demo.
